When are more Norwich Terriers born?

Let me be more specific. In what month are Norwich Terriers more likely to be born?

You might think that any month is equally likely. Babies seem to come in every month. But actually, more babies are born around the month of September. People do more canoodling during the winter (colder) months. In the southern hemisphere, more babies are born nine months after the southern hemisphere's winter months of June and July.

Maybe you know that wolves - from which dogs are descended - only have wolf pups in the spring.

So now what do you think? When are more Norwich Terriers born?

Using version 3.04 of my Norwich Terrier pedigree database - which has over 18,000 litters recorded covering the period from 1950 to the present- one can calculate the histogram of litters born in each month.
